NOTE: Treatment with APO866 decreased lymphocyte counts in all groups compared with the vehicle group (P < 0.001, t tests). However, combining with nicotinic acid rescued a fraction of the lymphocytes at both APO866 dose levels (P < 0.005), although lymphocyte counts were very low in mice dosed with 60 mg/kg ×2/d.
