Cell cycle changes in C/EBPδ antisense cells treated with OSM for 4 days

Control (pccon) and C/EBPδ antisense cells (δbulk and δ1) were grown in the presence or absence of OSM and analyzed by flow cytometric analysis of propidium iodide-stained cells. Results represent the average of three independent experiments with 2–3 replicates/condition/experiment. The S-phase reduction for both antisense cell lines in response to OSM treatment was significantly less than that for the control cell line. The δbulk (pooled transfected antisense) cells had a greater reduction in S-phase cells than the δ1 (clonal transfected antisense) cells. There was no statistically significant change in the number of S-phase δ1 cells (P = 0.01, ANOVA, Tukey-Kramer).
