On The Cover

Gene expression changes elicited by Taxol® (paclitaxel) in human ovarian carcinoma xenografts differing in sensitivity to paclitaxel. Tumor tissues from mice undergoing treatment were harvested 4 and 24 hours after drug administration and analyzed by cDNA microaarray in comparison to tumors from untreated mice. Paclitaxel caused the modulation of many more genes in 1A9 responsive than in 1A9PTX22 resistant xenografts. For details, see Bani et al. in this issue.
